Torquay United have signed full-back Aaron Dawson, following his release by Exeter City, and free-agent Ollivier Gueguen on non-contract terms.
Dawson, 22, and French defender Gueguen, 24, fill the gap left by the this week.
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale said Dawson
"I'm surprised he was released but it's a game of opinions. He really fits the bill for us character-wise," manager Chris Hargreaves told BBC Radio Devon.
Gueguen, who has previously played for Amiens SC and Stade Bretois, had been on trial with the Gulls.
