Struggling Hamburg have re-signed Croatia striker Ivica Olic from Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg.
The 35-year-old previously played for the club from 2007 to 2009, scoring 29 goals in 78 league appearances.
He then moved to Bayern Munich before joining Wolfsburg in 2012.
Olic, who has signed an 18-month deal, said: "I had a wonderful time at Wolfsburg and I am proud to have been a part of this team. The return to Hamburg is another massive challenge."
Neither club have revealed if any fee was paid for the veteran, who has won 100 caps for his country.
Olic could face Cologne on Saturday for Hamburg, who are only out of the relegation play-off spot on goal difference.
