Bradford City
Bradford are sixth in League One after their win over MK Dons

Bradford climbed into the League One play-off places and denied MK Dons the chance to go top thanks to a controversial winner at Valley Parade.

Spurs-bound Dons midfielder Dele Alli put the visitors ahead with a close-range shot that went through the legs of Jordan Pickford in the City goal.

Billy Clarke equalised when he beat the offside trap and finished confidently.

Bantams striker James Hanson then netted the winner, after Jon Stead appeared to handle in the build-up.

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio:

"We weren't good enough, we can't deny that.

"They have better players to play on that kind of surface and we couldn't match them.

"We looked shaky at the back, we didn't defend well as a team."

On the suspected handball in the build-up to Bradford's second goal: "If I moan about it I get told I'm moaning and making excuses. But the referee has to be better."
