Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale says he is worried by the gap between his club and the League Two play-off places after their
The Grecians are now three points off the final play-off spot having won just once in the last six games.
"I'm worried about not getting points and the gap between us and the play-offs widening," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon following Saturday's defeat.
"I'm concerned because we want to be in those play-offs."
Despite the defeat Tisdale felt his side played well against a Tranmere team who have not lost in League Two since Boxing Day, after struggling under former Exeter assistant manager Rob Edwards
"It was a really good performance and the wrong result," added Tisdale.
"Having seen us play last week and the week before, I'm pretty happy that we're back on track with our performances.
"There's things we could do better or things we can improve on, but as a whole, with four players out who probably would have started, I felt the team played very well."
