Transfer Deadline Day: Scunthorpe extend Hopper loan

Tom Hopper joined Leicester City from non-league Boston United aged 16

Scunthorpe United have extended the loan stay of striker Tom Hopper from Premier League side Leicester City until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has scored four goals in four appearances for the Iron including a brace in Saturday's win at Leyton Orient.

Hopper has made two first team appearances for Leicester and spent time on loan at Bury two seasons ago.

Scunthorpe currently lie in 16th place in the League One table.
