Stirling Albion 1-4 Ayr United

Ayr United secured their first win in 12 league games against bottom side Stirling Albion to move out of the Scottish League One relegation zone.

David Robertson, who earlier headed against the bar, fired in the opener from close range.

A headed own goal by Gordon Smith doubled Ayr's advantage before Philip Johnston pulled one back for Albion.

But Craig Beattie's header and Jordan Preston's neat finish ensured a comfortable win for Ian McCall's side.
