Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender Josh Meekings has signed a new contract to stay will the club until the summer of 2017.
The 22-year-old Englishman joined the Highlanders in 2011 and has made over 100 appearances since.
He was previously with Ipswich Town, where he was a trainee.
"He is a massive player," said Inverness manager John Hughes. "He's a fantastic passer, has a great range, he is very quick for a centre-half."
And Hughes added: "He is the bedrock which we build our team on, him and Gary Warren, they have got a fantastic partnership.
"I know there were a lot of big teams sniffing about him so I'm delighted he has committed his future to the club for another two years."
This term, Meekings has scored three times as his side have maintained a regular place at the top end of the Premiership. They are currently third.
