Match ends, Sheffield United 2, Coventry City 2.
Sheffield United staged a dramatic comeback against Coventry City despite playing most of the game with 10 men.
After Blades forward Jose Baxter was sent off for a foul on Adam Barton, the visitors took advantage through Dominic Samuel's brace.
The Reading loanee evaded Bob Harris to slot home his first, before doubling the lead from Aaron Phillips' cross.
But, with time running out, goals from Michael Doyle and Jamie Murphy earned a point for Nigel Clough's side.
Doyle halved the deficit when he chipped Coventry keeper Jamie Jones from inside the box, and two minutes later Murphy struck low from the edge of the area to level the scores.
Coventry drop into the League One relegation zone, while United remain fifth.
Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"To play with 10 men for 80 minutes of the game, to be 2-0 down with 15 minutes to go and to get a point is a remarkable effort by the players.
"We've got no arguments with it [Jose Baxter's red card]. You can't tackle like that these days.
"Anybody who does that apologises. It's cost us two points."
Coventry City manager Steven Pressley told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire:
"For 75 minutes it was a brilliant away performance from us. We passed well and created a number of very good opportunities.
"We showed bravery, we dominated. Obviously, the sending-off is a turning point. We found ourselves 2-0 up and I'm thinking this is a perfect performance.
"Then, when they scored the first goal, we didn't show composure. When you're desperate to win there's a nervousness that sets in.
"The ironic thing is prior to the game, away from home against an in-form side, 2-2 would be a very credible result. But, after our performance for 75 minutes we're disappointed."
