AFC Wimbledon 3-2 Luton Town

Luton Town fell four points behind League Two's automatic promotion places after David Connolly's injury-time winner gave AFC Wimbledon victory.

The Dons were in charge after Alfie Potter netted a rebound and Dannie Bulman fired into the top corner.

Luton fought back and Jayden Stockley reacted first when the ball rebounded off a post and then West Ham loanee Elliot Lee's debut goal made it 2-2.

But in a frantic finale Connolly struck with almost the last kick of the match.

AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley told BBC London 94.9:

"First half I thought we were brilliant.

"Now the big games take care of themselves. Away to Cambridge and Hartlepool are the ones that you worry about and are really difficult.

"At home we feel confident that we can beat anyone. We have to enjoy today but have to get ready for two tough ones."

Luton manager John Still told BBC Three Counties Radio:

"I'm disappointed that we lost because I thought our second half display deserved something from the game. Disappointed because we had a stone wall penalty. Disappointed because we couldn't defend properly.

"We've had to make some changes, but it's up to those people to be up to the job. It's as simple as that.

"I just felt that they weren't to the level that we would expect to have at the club at the moment.

"We're away from home and we've scored two goals. Luton should win if we've scored two goals away from home, that's the way I see it."
