Nuneaton Town 0-0 Kidderminster Harriers

Kidderminster missed the chance to close the gap on the Conference play-off places as they were held to a goalless draw at struggling Nuneaton.

Danny Wright had a good chance to give Harriers an early lead but his shot was saved by debutant keeper Max Crocombe.

Elliot Wheeler and George Maris both had chances for the hosts while Harriers striker Lee Hughes blazed a shot over the crossbar.

Wright should have secured a win for Harriers late on but he headed wide.

Kidderminster Harriers manager Gary Whild told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"It was going to be a game of not too many chances and not-too-pretty football. We lacked a little bit of a cutting edge going forward.

"It looked as though one goal was probably going to settle it.

"But we've come away from home, kept a clean sheet and not been beaten. Jamie Grimes and Josh Gowling were outstanding, as were their two centre-halves, which sums up why it was 0-0.

"It's never easy here. We know that. Nuneaton were on the back of a great win last week at Gateshead and Liam Daish has got them working hard and battling."
