Josh Payne's equaliser was his fourth goal of the season

Woking hit back from conceding two early goals to keep alive their hopes of earning a place in the play-offs.

Aaron Downes headed Torquay's opener from close range before Louis Briscoe slammed in Ryan Bowman's cross just over two minutes later to make it 2-0.

Yemi Odubade pulled one back from close range early in the second half and Josh Payne shot home through a crowd of players to equalise for Woking.

Scott Rendell won it from six yards and Kevin Betsy should have hit a fourth.

Woking are now a point off fifth-placed Forest Green Rovers, while Torquay are 15th in the Conference table.
