Falkirk 2-0 Livingston

Falkirk extended their unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions with a comfortable 2-0 win over Championship basement boys Livingston.

Kieran Duffie opened the scoring, powering a header past keeper Darren Jamieson from Craig Sibbald's cross.

Sibbald then cut the ball back for Will Vaulks to add the second before the break.

Vaulks and Mark Kerr were denied by Jamieson as the Bairns pressed and Sibbald nodded wide after half time.

Jordan White had Livi's best chance to pull a goal back but he fired well wide from close range.

The result sees Falkirk draw level with fourth-placed Queen of the South on 39 points, while Livingston are six points adrift of second-bottom Cowdenbeath.
