Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Bury
Bury ended Plymouth's four-match winning run and strengthened their position in the play-off places.
Curtis Nelson's header bounced off the bar following Bobby Reid's corner as the home side sought an opener.
Moments later, Daniel Nardiello looped a header over Luke McCormick to give the visitors the lead.
Nardiello's replacement, Danny Rose, doubled the advantage late-on as he swept in from the right and dinked the ball over McCormick.
The result sees Bury climb up to fifth, while Plymouth drop out of the top seven and sit a point behind sixth-placed Newport.
Bury striker Danny Nardiello told BBC Radio Manchester:
"We had a couple of chances. I had one in the first-half that I should have done a lot better with.
"We dominated the game and fully deserved the three points.
"He's (manager David Flitcroft) always trying to help us and he tells each and every player what he wants us to do during the game, half-time, before the game."
