Match ends, Scunthorpe United 1, Yeovil Town 1.
Hakeeb Adelakun's second-half equaliser earned Scunthorpe a draw against League One's bottom side Yeovil Town.
Joel Grant gave Yeovil the lead from close-range after a shot from Gozie Ugwu was parried by Luke Daniels.
Yeovil goalkeeping coach Gareth Stewart then had to come on before half-time after a head injury to Artur Krysiak, and saved former Glovers striker Paddy Madden's penalty.
But Adelakun's angled shot from inside the area rescued a point for the Iron.
Yeovil could have snatched all three points but Stephen Kingsley flashed a shot across the face of the goal.
Prior to kick off, Scunthorpe announced the signing of Hull City left-back Conor Townsend on a one-month loan deal.
Townsend, who spent the first half of this season at Dundee United, went straight into the starting line-up and played all 90 minutes.
Scunthorpe United manager Mark Robins told BBC Radio Humberside:
"We played well. It's very difficult when you're playing against a side who come to camp in, and you've got to try and break them down.
"Without a shadow of a doubt we should have won this game so we've got to take those positives - there are undoubted positives because we controlled the game from start to finish.
"If we can cut out the mistakes then we'll be delighted because the way that we passed the ball was fine."
Yeovil acting manager Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset:
"It was a good point but if I'm honest I'm disappointed we didn't nick it at the end.
"We'll walk away with a draw and say it was a fair result.
"I'm pleased with a point but in the greater scheme of things, we go another point behind.
"Now we need two wins and something else to get ourselves out of trouble."
