Rochdale have signed goalkeeper Jamie Jones on loan from fellow League One side Preston until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old former Leyton Orient keeper spent last month on loan at Coventry, making four outings.
Jones made 20 appearances for North End this term but lost his place in the team towards the end of November.
Kirkby-born Jones has faced Dale three times already this season, twice for Preston and once for Coventry.
The former Everton trainee was Simon Grayson's first signing last summer, penning a two-year deal at Deepdale.
