Lynden Gooch: Sunderland striker joins Gateshead on loan

Conference club Gateshead have signed USA Under-20 international striker Lynden Gooch on a 28-day youth loan from Premier League side Sunderland.
Gooch joined Sunderland's academy in the summer of 2012, having played high-school football in California.
The 19-year-old broke into the Black Cats' Under-21 side earlier this term, having previously played for the Under-18 side in his two years on Wearside.
Gooch will be available when Gateshead host Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
