Irish Cup quarter-final: Glentoran 3-0 Dungannon Swifts

Glentoran had little difficulty in progressing to the Irish Cup semi-finals as they saw off a disappointing Dungannon side at a rain-lashed Oval.
Curtis Allen scored the first goal on 14 minutes after Swifts keeper Alvin Rouse had tipped a David Scullion shot on to the woodwork.
As Dungannon rarely threatened, Marcus Kane fired in the second on 67 following another Rouse save.
Niall Henderson completed the scoring with an 85th-minute penalty.
David Armstrong had a Dungannon effort cleared off the line when the scoreline was 2-0 while Jamie Glacken went close earlier in the second half but the Swifts were decidedly second best in a game played in atrocious conditions in east Belfast.
Swifts manager Darren Murphy had vowed beforehand that his team were up for the game but they were badly caught out for the opening goal as Scullion got in his shot following a quickly-taken corner.
Winger Kane was among Glentoran's most impressive performers.
