West Ham: Blackburn Rovers secure Doneil Henry loan

Doneil Henry made 24 appearances on loan for Toronto FC, managed by former Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen

Blackburn have signed defender Doneil Henry on a month-long loan deal from West Ham United.

The 21-year-old Canada international joined the Hammers from Cypriot side Apollon Limassol but has not yet made an appearance in English football.

Henry was part of the Blackburn squad that travelled to face Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday night.

He is also eligible to play in the FA Cup quarter-final tie with Liverpool on Sunday.
