Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law says climbing out of the Conference relegation zone for the first time since September is a huge boost.
The Reds beat Telford on Tuesday to move one point clear of the bottom four, and Law said it will help them focus on the remaining 11 games.
Law said: "It is now all down to us. We have got ourselves into a position where we are in control of our fate.
"On our day we can match anybody. It is if we can have enough of those days."
Alfreton, who announced they had secured US investment of up to £250,000 in January, have only won 10 league games all season, but three of those victories have come in their last seven matches.
Law added: "There is a better focus about the place and hopefully we can carry that into Saturday [against Kidderminster] and be able to stand up to what is undoubtedly another tough test."
