Promotion-chasing Port Vale are keen to extend their loan arrangement with Premier League side Crystal Palace for youngster Ryan Inniss.

Vale have conceded just one goal in four games since the teenage defender arrived in Burslem on 12 February.

His month-long youth loan expires next week and boss Rob Page is keen to tie up the 19-year-old's immediate future.

Inniss to win it...
Port Vale enjoyed three successive clean sheets, and three straight wins, following the loan signing of Ryan Inniss, who made his debut in the 1-0 victory at Walsall. The only goal Rob Page's side have conceded since was in Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat by Oldham Athletic.

"We've been in discussions. He was definitely one we wanted to keep hold of," Page told BBC Radio Stoke.

"He's fitted straight in. He's come in and had an instant impact. He's great to have around the place."

Page's men go into Saturday's meeting with Coventry City, Vale's first-ever visit to the Ricoh Arena, standing 13th in League One and four points shy of a play-off spot.
