Crewe Alexandra defender Greg Leigh's wonder strike in Saturday's win against Scunthorpe United came just a day after scoring a similar goal in training.
"He scored one like it in training on Friday and then he went and actually did it in the game," Crewe boss Steve Davis told BBC Radio Stoke.
It was the 20-year-old's first senior goal since joining the club on loan from Premier League Manchester City.
"I thought why not and just gave it a hit. I was ecstatic," said Leigh.

|Defender Greg Leigh signed for Crewe Alexandra last August on a five-month loan deal from Manchester City, which was then extended until the end of the season. Yet to appear for City's first team, he has made 33 appearances for the Alex this term.|
"I've seen what the best players do, so I try to replicate that. You have to look at where to improve and where you should be. I look where I could be defensively."
Davis says the young defender can be a valuable asset if he can keep reproducing the sort of flashes of inspiration learnt from watching the likes of Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Yaya Toure and Edin Dzeko at City.
"It would be terrific if he can add goals and assists to his game on a regular basis," added Davis. "That would be fantastic for him and us."
