Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs wins SPFL monthly award

Hibernian's Alan Stubbs has been named the Scottish Professional Football League Championship's manager of the month for February.

The Englishman edged a tight vote over Hearts' Robbie Neilson to land his second managerial award of the season, the first coming in September.

Stubbs' side secured three league wins in February.

Hibs beat Rangers 2-0 at Ibrox, Dumbarton 3-0 at Easter Road and also won 1-0 at Alloa.

Brechin City boss Ray Mckinnon was named SPFL League One manager of the month for February, while East Fife's Gary Naysmith won the League Two award.
