West Brom midfielder Kemar Roofe has extended his loan spell at Oxford United until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old joined Oxford in February and has made five appearances for the League Two side.
He has previously been on loan at Northampton, Cheltenham and Colchester.
"Sometimes the grass is not always greener, " U's manager Michael Appleton told BBC Radio Oxford. "It's nice to be loved and be part of something and hopefully he feels that here."
Appleton added: "He's been out on loan at clubs before and it's not really happened for him and he's gone back early or gone back for a month
"I don't think he's got any grand designs to go back to West Brom. I think he is enjoying being in this environment."
