Josh Gillies: Gateshead re-sign Carlisle United midfielder

Josh Gillies played for Cambridge United in the 2013-14 FA Trophy final while on loan from Carlisle

Gateshead have re-signed attacking midfielder Josh Gillies on loan from Carlisle United for the remainder of the Conference season.

The 24-year-old, who left the Tynesiders for Brunton Park in June 2013, has been limited to eight games for Carlisle this term.

Carlisle have granted Gateshead permission to play Gillies in the play-offs should they reach that stage.

Gllies won England C honours during his first stint at Gateshead.

He also helped Cambridge United to FA Trophy success during a loan spell in 2013-14.
