Amari'i Bell: Gillingham sign Birmingham defender on loan

Bell has made one senior appearance for Birmingham

Gillingham have signed left-back Amari'i Bell on loan from Championship side Birmingham City until the end of the season.

The move comes after Joe Martin was ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Bell, 20, had a spell on loan at Swindon Town earlier this season, making 11 appearances in total.

"He's a good up and coming player, he played in a good Swindon side and acquitted himself well there," said Gills boss Justin Edinburgh.

Bell, who has also had stints at Nuneaton and Kidderminster, is a product of Birmingham's youth academy.
