2022 Qatar World Cup: English leagues accept Fifa move call

English leagues will not take legal action against Fifa over the decision to move the start of the 2022 Qatar World Cup to November and December.
However, world football's governing body could still face action from other top European leagues.
In a statement echoed by the Football League, the Premier League said its focus was to ensure the impact on its season was as "limited as possible".
It added: "While we remain disappointed we now have fixed dates to work with."
At a meeting in Barcelona on Saturday, the European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) adopted a resolution criticising the decision to move the tournament to winter to combat searing summer heat in the middle-east.
The organisation said a preferable solution would be to hold the tournament in May.
French league president Frederic Thiriez said: "This is seriously damaging to the European leagues from a sporting and a financial point of view.
"The EPFL is ready to support any legal actions that individual leagues may undertake in this respect in the near future."
Fifa announced on Friday that it will triple the amount paid to clubs who release their players for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to £142m.
