Truro City boss Steve Tully talks to goalscorer Isaac Vassell

Truro City boss Steve Tully says his side 'must not get carried away' after moving up to third in the Southern Premier League.

Goals from Isaac Vassell and Shane White helped Tully's side to a 2-1 win at mid-table Chippenham Town, City's third victory in-a-row.

"We're not going to get too carried away, we'll keep our heads down and we'll go again next weekend," he said.

"We're in a good position at the moment and we'll keep pushing."

City are five points behind table-topping Corby Town, but long-time leaders Poole Town, who are second, have three games in hand on the Steelmen and four on Truro.

"We've come back over the last three games and taken nine points, so we've got good spirit in the team, a good squad of players and everyone's fighting to be in that starting 11," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"It was a tough game, the first half was very physical and the referee lost quite a bit of control of the game.

"But we stood up to them and when we had a chance to play, we did, so I'm delighted with the three points."
