Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been confirmed as Feyenoord's new manager, starting in the summer.
The 40-year-old former Rangers and Arsenal player is currently assistant to Fred Rutten, who will leave the Dutch club at the end of the season.
He will sign a two-year contract as Feyenoord manager.
Van Bronckhorst, who won 106 caps for Netherlands, was assistant to Ronald Koeman for two years before his appointment at Southampton last summer.
He retired from a playing career that also took in Feyenoord and Barcelona after the 2010 World Cup final, which Netherlands lost to Spain.
Feyenoord, who are third in the Dutch top flight, reached the last 32 of the Europa League but were knocked out by Roma last month after a tie marred by fan violence.
