Gillingham have offered midfielder Michael Freiter and keeper Tom Hadler one-year extensions to their contracts.
Hadler, 18, and Freiter, 19, are yet to feature for the first team.
The club have also offered Greg Cundle, Mitchell Dickenson and Callum Emptage one-year professional deals.
Josh Hare and Aaron Millbank have been offered six-month extensions but Dan Bent, Aidan Blanchard, Devante McKain, Mahlon Romeo, Josh Staunton and Charlie Webster are being released.
Meanwhile, striker Jack Sellens will be invited back for pre-season training as he looks to recover from a broken leg.
Right-back Hare and forward Millbank are also looking to prove their fitness following injury problems.
"We've tried to be fair with everyone and we've spoken to the medical department and will give them adequate chance," said manager Justin Edinburgh.
