Rochdale stayed in League One play-off contention as Ian Henderson's equaliser secured a draw at Doncaster.
Henderson headed wide early on, but it was Doncaster who went in front when Kyle Bennett forced home Reece Wabara's right-wing cross at the far post.
Nathan Tyson's volley grazed the bar and Jamie McCombe forced keeper Jamie Jones into action as Rovers pressed.
But a defensive lapse allowed Michael Rose to cross for Henderson to flick in and claim a share of the spoils.
Rochdale went closest to pinching a winner, with home goalkeeper Stephen Bywater making an instinctive save from Calvin Andrew.
Dale are now four points outside the top six, but have a game in hand on some of their play-off rivals, while Doncaster drop a place to 13th.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill told BBC Radio Manchester:
On Doncaster's goal: "I am going to talk to the referee because their player was in an offside position - he stops our goalkeeper from diving.
"I don't know how they've actually come to the conclusion that he's not interfered with play. But these things happen.
On the run-in: "Players have got to realise that we've got a five-game season.
"We can't wait and see what the opposition are going to offer up. We've got to make sure we take a leap of faith"
