BBC Sport - Walsall: Kieron Morris takes chance following return from Wrexham loan

Morris takes his chance at Walsall

Walsall striker Kieron Morris tells BBC WM 95.6 he is pleased to have taken his chance with the Saddlers following his return from loan at Wrexham.

After scoring four times in his two months with the Welsh side, Morris' time at the Racecourse Ground ended in disappointment when he was part of the team beaten on penalties in the final of the FA Trophy at Wembley - just a week after being there to watch the Saddlers lose in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

He has since made four starts for the Saddlers and scored the third of their five goals in Tuesday night's season's-best 5-0 home win over Crawley.

"I knew when I was recalled that it was time to take my chance here," Morris said. "I've been at Wrexham scoring goals and getting that experienced certainly helped. Playing at Wembley was unbelievable, even though it was disappointing lose, just like the previous week with Walsall."

Morris now has six career goals to his name, having come off the bench to net the winner in the 2-1 League Cup win at Southend back in August.
