Jersey Premiership: Jersey Scottish suffer surprise defeat

Football

Reigning St Paul's are in the driving seat to retain their Premiership title after Jersey Scottish were surprisingly beaten by St Ouen.

The parish side's 2-1 victory inflicted just a second defeat of the season on Scottish after goals from Dominic Pougelle and Ryan Thorpe.

It means St Paul's need just a point from their final game at home to third-placed Jersey Wanderers next week.

If St Paul's are beaten there will be a play-off for the title.
