Leyton Orient 1-1 Sheffield United

Bob Harris
Glasgow-born Bob Harris has scored three goals for the Blades since joining them last season

Bob Harris secured Sheffield United's place in the League One play-offs with a draw at struggling Leyton Orient.

Orient goalkeeper Alex Cisak made several athletic first-half saves to deny Blades duo Jason Holt and Jamie Murphy from close range.

The home side took the lead after the break when Mathieu Baudry headed home Dean Cox's corner from eight yards.

Harris, however, equalised minutes later with a powerful shot that deflected past Cisak into the net.

United are fifth and guaranteed a play-off place, while the O's must beat Swindon in their final game on 3 May and hope other results go their way if they are to avoid relegation.

Leyton Orient assistant manager Kevin Nugent told BBC London 94.9:

"A draw was probably a fair enough result. What you want to do in this situation is take it down to the last day and not give it away today and not play for nothing next week.

"It's been difficult to put your finger (on what went wrong), teams have come and set up to make them hard to break down and we probably haven't had that bit of magic this season than we have previously.

"For me they've given everything and hopefully we can get that result on Saturday and keep ourselves in this league- it's so important to do that."
