QPR's hopes of avoiding relegation from the Premier League were hit as Charlie Austin missed a penalty as they could only draw at home against West Ham.
Austin's first-half spot-kick, awarded after a handball from James Collins, was saved by Hammers goalkeeper Adrian.
West Ham's Aaron Cresswell had a 25-yard free-kick tipped over by QPR goalkeeper Robert Green.
The hosts thought they had scored when Richard Dunne headed in, but the goal was ruled out by referee Mike Jones.

The official thought Steven Caulker had impeded Adrian before the ball fell to Dunne, but the incident summed up a frustrating day for Chris Ramsey's QPR side.
With Leicester and Hull winning their away games at Burnley and Crystal Palace respectively, it means R's are now four points adrift of safety with only four matches remaining.
To compound QPR's troubles, they have trips to Liverpool and Manchester City in their next two fixtures before ending the season with games against Newcastle and Leicester.
In a frantic encounter, Austin, with 17 Premier League goals this season, had the best chance but his spot-kick was drilled down the middle with Adrian blocking the ball with his legs.

QPR are winless in their last 14 Premier League London derbies (drew four, lost 10), with their last victory coming away to Chelsea on 2 January, 2013 |
The Spanish goalkeeper again made a vital save late on as he tipped Matt Phillips's powerful shot over the bar.
But West Ham, who remain 10th, had chances of their own with Green excellently saving Cresswell's free-kick.
The Hammers, without a Premier League away win in 2015, should have picked up all three points when Enner Valencia sprinted down the right wing and set up an unmarked Cheikhou Kouyate, but from 12 yards out he shot over the crossbar.
QPR, aiming to avoid an instant return to the Championship, pushed men forward late on but they could not score a winner.
QPR boss Chris Ramsey, on how many points his side will need to stay up:
"There is no clear number. I think anybody in the bottom half of the table is just thinking win the next game and get the three points. We know time is running out but what can we do.
"We performed well today and we had the chances to score, we just didn't have that little bit of quality we needed to get the points.
"We still believe. Look at Leicester, they were written off earlier on. The tide can turn and we will look to turn it next week."
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce:
"If we finish ninth and we finish on 50 points, then we have done everything we have desired to do this year and that's progress.
"It should have been better than that, we know that but it has tested the squad and perhaps the squad
"Our strength in depth needs to be strengthened - so if we get in this position next time we don't quite slip as many times as we have done."
