Queen's Park maintained their advantage over third-placed Arbroath with a home draw to East Stirling.
East Stirling midfielder Luke Donnelly hit the woodwork in the opening stages and Pat Slattery was close with a header for Queen's Park.
The hosts scored when Ciaran McElroy cheekily nut-megged Jon Tully to set up Slattery and he fired home.
Queen's Park should have doubled the lead when Paul Woods headed over, and Nisbet equalised after poor defending.
Slattery went closest to a winner but he was denied by a decent stop from Richie Barnard.
