CSKA Sofia are struggling financially

CSKA Sofia have been fined £13,700 after fans displayed a banner with a swastika during Monday's 1-0 home derby Bulgarian league loss to Lokomotiv Sofia.

Ex-Barnsley winger Toni Silva, now with CSKA, claimed he was racially abused during the game. Silva, 21, said: "The fans don't respect me.

"They just cannot call me a monkey."

In May 2014, the ex-Liverpool player claimed he was racially abused in a league game by a Botev Plovdiv player.

CSKA, the 31-time champions of Bulgaria, are struggling financially and are third in the league after a run of seven games without a goal.

They recently asked fans for financial help after being threatened with expulsion from the top flight over debts.
