Midfielder Bostwick joined Peterborough in July 2012

Michael Bostwick's late strike saw 10-man Peterborough earn a draw at Oldham Athletic.

Forward Dominic Poleon gave Oldham an early lead when he headed Brian Wilson's accurate cross home for his seventh goal of the season.

Peterborough slid into further trouble when Jonathan Edwards was sent off after a late tackle on James Wilson.

Bostwick, however, powerfully struck Joe Newell's rebounded corner home to secure Peterborough's mid-table finish.

Oldham manger Dean Holden told BBC Radio Manchester:

"It was an exciting game overall. I think it was important that we tried to go out with a bit of a bang.

"I think it's been a difficult season on and off the pitch and it was important to send the fans home happy today with some optimism for next season."
