Derry City drawn against Offaly juniors Edenderry Town in FAI Cup

Derry City will face Leinster Senior League side Edenderry Town away in the second round of this year's FAI Cup later this month.

The Candystripes, runners-up in last season's competition, will take on the Offaly club at their ground Father Paul Park on the weekend ending 31 May.

Edenderry qualified for the FAI Cup by reaching the latter stages of the FAI's Intermediate Cup.

Holders St Pat's will face Shamrock Rovers in the tie of the round.

Ballybofey club Finn Harps have been drawn away to Longford Town while Buncrana outfit Cockhill Celtic will have a home tie against another junior club, west Dublin-based St Mochtas.
