Dagenham & Redbridge captain Abu Ogogo will leave the League Two club when his contract expires this summer.
The 25-year-old, who can play at right-back or in midfield, scored 18 goals in 253 appearances for the Daggers after joining in the summer of 2009.
"He has been an excellent servant to our club," manager Wayne Burnett said.
"I would have loved for him to stay, just like many of our supporters, but we must respect his desire to play at the highest level."
Veteran striker Jamie Cureton signed a new one-year deal with Dagenham earlier this week, while Burnett has offered new contracts to nine other players.
Billy Bingham, Andre Boucaud, Scott Doe, Ian Gayle, Ashley Hemmings, Luke Howell, Matt Partridge, Joe Widdowson and Ade Yusuff have all been offered the chance to remain at Victoria Road.
