Southport boss Paul Carden has signed a new contract after keeping the club in the Conference.
The 36-year-old was promoted from his position as assistant manager in January following Gary Brabin's move to join the coaching staff at Everton.
The former Chester, Peterborough and Cambridge midfielder helped the club finish six points above the drop zone.
"I am looking to build for next season. The contract shows commitment and desire from both sides," said Carden.
The length of his new contract has not been disclosed.
Brabin has since gone on to be appointed as manager of Tranmere, who will play alongside Southport in the rebranded National League next season after finishing bottom of League Two.
