Hereford FC, the club created following Hereford United's collapse in December 2014, will start life next season in the ninth tier of English football.
The new Bulls, who will play at Edgar Street, have had their place in the Midland Football League confirmed.
Hereford United were playing in football's seventh tier when they were wound up with debts of £148,000.
"There is little doubt that we have quite a journey ahead of us," chairman Jon Hale told the club's website.
"I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that the day we can start thinking more about football is one I'm really looking forward to.
"I feel today's announcement is bringing that exciting day even closer."
