Owain Fon Williams: Ex-Tranmere keeper interesting foreign clubs
Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams says he is prepared to move abroad for a club following his release from Tranmere Rovers.
Williams left Tranmere following their relegation from the Football League at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old, a Wales squad member, does not expect his future to be resolved until the end of June.
"If a club from abroad was to show interest and come forward I wouldn't say no to that," he said.
"It would be a different challenge but obviously it's something I'd be willing to think about and if that was the case I'm sure I'd be looking forward to it."
The former Crewe Alexandra, Stockport County and Rochdale custodian wants regular first team football as he bids to keep his place in the Wales squad.
Williams is still to win his first cap but has been a regular in Chris Coleman's squad during the current Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
Wales face Group B leaders Belgium at Cardiff City Stadium on 12 June and hoping to qualify for their first major tournament finals since the 1959 World Cup.
"It's a great time to be involved in the Wales squad," Williams told BBC Wales Sport.
"Fingers crossed, if we manage to make it to France, then I want to be part of that. I wouldn't want to miss it for the world."
