Esteban Cambiasso: Leicester boss will give midfielder time
Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson would "love" Esteban Cambiasso to sign a new contract but says they will not rush the midfielder into making a decision.
The 34-year-old Argentine made 33 appearances this season and played a key role as the Foxes avoided relegation from the Premier League.
Pearson said: "Everybody here would love him to stay. He has been a really positive figure on and off the field.
"But we give him time and that is the respect he is due."
Cambiasso, who won 52 international caps and played for Inter Milan for 10 years, joined City on a one-year deal in August.
