Versatile Mark O'Hara has signed a two-year contract extension with Kilmarnock and manager Gary Locke has described it as "a coup" for the Ayrshire club.
O'Hara, who made his debut in 2012 at the age of 16 and who plays in midfield or defence, made 18 appearances for the Scottish Premiership side this season.
Locke told the club website: "I am really pleased to be keeping our best young talent at the club.
"He is only 19 and has a big future ahead of him."
O'Hara started 14 times this season, with all but two of his appearances coming after December.
Locke said: "I'm sure he will kick-on and do very well next season."
The product of the Kilmarnock youth system has been capped for Scotland at under-19 and under-21 levels and wants to cement a first-team place next season.
"My goal for 2015/16 is to firmly establish myself in the first team with the hope of helping the club achieve a top-six spot," he said.
