Barnsley boss Lee Johnson has signed Inverness Caley Thistle forward Marley Watkins on a two-year contract.
Watkins, 24, scored the opener as the Highlanders beat Falkirk to win the Scottish Cup last week.
He told the club website: "I had a good, positive meeting with Lee Johnson and I was really impressed with what he had to say and where he wants to go."
Meanwhile, Wales international defender Lewin Nyatanga, 26, has signed a two-year deal.
He joined the Tykes from Bristol City in July 2013 and has made 57 league appearances for the League One outfit.
Nyatanga told BBC Radio Sheffield: "The manager has big aspirations and it's fantastic to have someone leading you who has big ambitions.
"The aim has to be challenging for promotion. The league is tough but it's open."
