Forest Green Rovers midfielder Corby Moore has signed a new six-month contract with the National League side.
Moore, 21, suffered an illness which reduced him to only one first-team appearance last term.
The Southampton academy product is confident the side can go one better and earn promotion after they lost in the play-off semi-finals last season.
"We are looking to go up next season, hopefully we'll have similar results and push on to promotion," said Moore.
Speaking to BBC Gloucestershire Moore described his illness as "bad luck", and added the experience of their first-ever National League play-off campaign would stand them in good stead next term.
"We know what it is about, how difficult it can be and the pressure," he said. "I think that experience will help us next season."
