Gateshead have re-signed winger Josh Gillies following his release by Carlisle United.
The 25-year-old played five games on loan for the club last season, scoring once in a 2-2 draw with Halifax, a game in which he was also sent off.
Gillies began his career at Gateshead, making 91 appearances before moving to Carlisle for the 2013-14 season.
He is new boss Malcolm Crosby's second signing for the club, following the arrival of goalkeeper Sam Russell.
The details of Gillies' contract have not been disclosed.
