Premiership champions Crusaders have signed former Linfield forward Michael Carvill in a three-year deal.
The 27-year-old left the Blues earlier this month after turning down a new contract at Windsor Park.
Carvill said a lack of first-team appearances was a major reason for leaving Linfield after seven years.
"It's a fantastic signing - he is a winner, a natural goalscorer and he will fit in with the team," said Crusaders chairman Stephen Bell.
He added: "It is brilliant that Michael has chosen to sign with us given the amount of clubs interested in his signature.
"It shows the intent that Stephen Baxter has to bring yet more silverware to Seaview that he has captured such a quality player."
Carvill, who also played for Welsh side Wrexham, was part of three double-winning sides while at Linfield.
