Scunthorpe United have cancelled the contract of winger Jennison Myrie-Williams by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old joined the Iron on a two-year deal last summer after rejecting a new deal with Port Vale.

Myrie-Williams made just seven starts for the Glanford Park side before joining Tranmere on loan in January for the remainder of the season.

He scored three goals in 18 appearances but was unable to prevent Rovers being relegated from League Two.
