Derek Asamoah: Carlisle striker signs deal until December
Carlisle striker Derek Asamoah has signed a six-month deal which will keep him at Brunton Park until 29 December.
Asamoah, 34, scored five goals in 28 games for Carlisle last season as they avoided relegation from League Two.
Ghanaian-born Asamoah signed for Carlisle in October 2014 after spells in Bulgaria and South Korea.
"It's a short-term deal because I know he needs to be hungry if I'm going to get the best out of him," manager Keith Curle told the club website.
"This type of deal gives him that extra edge."
